On May 13th, Dawn Golden will be releasing his debut full length album Still Life, a follow up to his 2011 EP Blow. Dawn Golden, the solo electronic production and songwriting project helmed by Dexter Tortoriello of Houses, has been carefully crafting the album over the past three years. For the lead single "All I Want," director Tyler T. Williams portrays a unique love story that draws on the burden of longing conveyed by Dawn Golden in this beatufiully composed track. As the melody builds, the plot parallels with added complexity and adventure, drawing you in with each frame.

About 3 years ago I started taking anti depressants and about 3 weeks ago I got off them. During those 3 years I didn't cry. My grandmother passed away, I didn't cry. My girlfriend who I uprooted my life for and moved across the country with cheated on me, I didn't cry. Sure I felt sad but I felt robotic. This song is the only thing that could evoke emotion from me. I discovered it only a few months ago and it made me tear up for some reason. Now that I'm off the pills, it has a much stronger effect. Its haunting and beautiful, yet sad. The funny thing is I don't even have someone in mind listening to it. I guess my point is.. Dawn Golden is the shit and if you ever read this, thank you for helping me cry.

For those few people who don't quite grasp the meaning of this film. I'll explain my perception of it to you. This film is about an ordinary guy who loses the love of his life. She's far from ordinary she's from outer space and she's put into a psychiatric ward because ppl don't believe her. He's dreaming of their times together, and he doesn't care what ppl have to say. She's all that he wants. He then tries breaking her out, and escape but they dnt make if far. In the end he really did nothing she's still sitting in a room and he's in the car filled with sorrow and regret... This film is just wowww.(´･_･`) side note- the thing he finds in the barn is sort of orb that takes him to her space ship where he looks down on earth and just knows that she's not insane, and that's when he tries to come and break her out of the place he put her in.
Or the orb could represent a soul, hence them being soul mates?
